Delhi Daredevils 179 for 6 (Sehwag 119, Ishant 2-16) beat Deccan chargers 175 for 5 (Duminy 55, Sangakkara 44, Agarkar 2-29) by four wickets

It's tough being Sachin Tendulkar. In the IPL, it's tougher being Virender Sehwag. After having watched his bowlers take wickets off no-balls and his fielders drop sitters, the Delhi Daredevils captain took his frustration out on the Deccan Chargers with a blistering century, his first in Twenty20s. The assault bettered his masterpiece against Kochi Tuskers Kerala, and stunned Deccan in to offering him two chances. Sehwag drowned them in a flood of boundaries that took the bite out of a challenging total, unmindful the complete lack of support from his team-mates. The next highest score was James Hopes' 17.

Delhi's bowlers had been profligate in letting Deccan surge to 175, and their top order, barring Sehwag, had let the pressure get to them. Aaron Finch, Naman Ojha and Venugopal Rao had combusted as Sehwag watched bemused from the other end. From 25 for 3 in the sixth over, only Sehwag could have taken Delhi home, and he did it in some style, moving from 8 off 13 to 119 off 56, and almost putting Deccan out of the race for the play-offs.

Kochi beat Delhi by 7 wickets

Mumbai beat Punjab by 23 runs

Mumbai completed yet another fantastic performance both with the ball and with the bat by defeating Punjab by 23 runs to ensure that the Wankhede fortress remained intact in the IPL-4 match here on Monday.

Earlier, Punjab got off tho the worst possible start losing the early wicket of Adam Gilchrist in the first over itself and could only manage a measly 20 runs in five overs.

Sachin Tendulkar and Ambati Rayudu struck half centuries as Mumbai Indians overcame a slow start to post 159 for 5 for against Kings XI Punjab in an IPL tie at the Wankhede Stadium.

Tendulkar and Rayudu scored 51 each and added 95 runs for the second wicket in 72 balls after the home team was asked to take first strike by visiting team skipper Adam Gilchrist.

While Rayudu was the more aggressive of the duo and got his runs in 37 balls with eight fours and one six. Tendulkar

struck a six and three fours in his 45-ball essay. Both were caught in the deep giving charge. Later Kieron Pollard, who has hardly got a chance to bat in earlier matches, made a quick-fire 20 with two sixes and a four. Rohit Sharma made a quick 18 in 11 balls before falling off the penultimate ball.

Chennai Super Kings beat Deccan Chargers by 19 runs - Raina rocks

Albie Morkel took 3 wickets after Suresh Raina's 35-ball 59 as Chennai Super Kings beat Deccan Chargers by 19 runs in their IPL match at MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai Chasing a victory target of 166 runs, Deccan managed 146/8 in their 20 overs.

Doug Bollinger clean bowled Deccan Chargers captain Kumar Sangakkara as the visitors lost their fourth wicket.

Sangakkara walked way outside off-stump for the pick-up shot over short fine leg, but missed the delivery that went on to hit the middle stump. Sangakkara hit a six and a four in his 12-ball 15.

Morkel then dismissed Cameron White and Jean Paul Duminy in the 19th over to put the match beyond Deccan's reach.

Deccan opener Sunny Sohal hit 4 sixes and 6 fours in his 31-ball 56 before he was clean bowled by Shadab Jakati.

Jakati took his second wicket when he clean bowled Shikhar Dhawan to place Deccan at 90/2.

Rajasthan Royals beat Pune Warriors for third straight win

Ross Taylor struck an unbeaten 35-ball 47 to propel Rajasthan Royals to a six-wicket victory over Pune Warriors in Indian Premier League here Sunday.
Taylor smashed four boundaries and two sixes and rustled up a 52-run unbroken fifth wicket partnership with Ajinkya Rahane (15 not out) to chase down Pune Warriors 143/7 with three balls to spare.
It was Royals’ third straight win and they have now moved to the top of the table while Pune, with their sixth successive loss are languishing at the bottom.
Rahul Sharma was the pick of Warriors’ bowlers with 3-13.
Alfonso Thomas gave Warriors the breakthrough when he had dangerous opener Shane Watson caught behind.
Sharma put the Royals’ chase off-track by dismissing Rahul Dravid and Johan Botha in his successive overs that saw Rajasthan reeling at 59/3 in 10.1 overs. Sharma dismissed Dravid by taking a return catch and then trapped Botha plumb.
Ashok Maneria played a brisk 22-ball 29, smashing three sixes to give thrust to the Royals’ pursuit.

Kolkata Knight Riders beat Punjab by eight wickets

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won their second consecutive match in a row as they defeated Kings XI Punjab by eight wickets and 16 balls to spare at a league level match of the Indian Premiere League (IPL) at the iconic Eden Gardens stadium here on Saturday night.

Chasing the visitors score of 119 runs for the loss of six wickets, KKR reached the winning score of 120 runs for the loss of only two wickets in just 17.2 overs.

Delhi DEVILS beat Kochi tuskers by 38 runs - Sehwag rocks

After getting a new lease of life in the Indian Premier League with a win over Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Delhi Daredevils would now look to assert their supremacy over the new entrants once again when they square off in their return-leg match here on Monday.

Delhi thrashed the tuskers by 38 runs to move to the seventh position in points table from the bottom while Kochi now stand at nine, just above the laggards Pune Warriors.

Virender Sehwag’s men will carry the psychological advantage into Monday’s game after having beaten them just two days back in their own den but in Twenty20 a single batsman or bowler can change the complexion of the game and Delhi can’t take the tuskers lightly.

Delhi’s bowlers have done well with Morne Morkel leading from the front and Irfan Pathan also gradually getting his touch back but the poor form of the middle-order batsmen is still a worry for the hosts.

Mumbai beat Chennai by eight runs

Harbhajan Singh registered his maiden five-wicket haul in IPL and Rohit Sharma struck a brilliant 87 as Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by 8 runs at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on Friday.

Chasing a victory target of 165 runs, Super Kings were restricted to 156 for nine in their 20 overs and Subramaniam Badrinath remained
unbeaten on a superb 48-ball 71, which was studded with two sixes and seven fours.

Super Kings paid the price of their failure to get a good partnership and barring Badrinath, Mike Hussey (41) and Murali Vijay (12) none of the batsmen could get to double figures.

The only highlight of Super Kings’ innings was the 60-run third-wicket stand between Badrinath and Hussey. But once Malinga struck to remove Hussey, it triggered a collapse and the visitors lost seven wickets for 42 runs

Earlier, Sharma's 48-ball 87 and Andrew Symonds' 26-ball 31 took Mumbai Indians to 164 for four.

Sharma's knock was studded with 5 sixes and 8 fours and he added 87 runs with Symonds for the fourth wicket.

Symonds hit 2 sixes and a four in his knock.

Sharma reached his fifty off 31 balls and his partnership with Symonds came after Mumbai lost their third wicket when Suraj Randiv had Ambati Rayudu stumped by MS Dhoni.

RCB beat KKR by 9 wickets : Gayle rocks

Chris Gayle hammered a whirlwind 102 not out to power Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to a nine wicket victory over hosts Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the fourth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Eden Gardens here this evening.
Batting first, Kolkata made an impressive 171 for five in their allotted twenty overs, with skipper Gautam Gambhir topscoring with 48. Opener Jacques Kallis made 40 and Yusuf Pathan contributed 46.
In response, the visitors made 175 for one in 18.1 overs to romp home with eleven balls to spare.
Apart from Gayle, who literally took the wind out of KKR's sails with his amazing knock, opener Tillakeratne Dilshan made 38 while Virat Kohli remained unbeaten with 30.
Gayle's unbeaten 102 came off 55 balls and was studded with ten fours and as many as seven sixes.
For KKR, Balaji took one for 43 while Aravind took two for 37 for RCB.
This was RCB's second victory in the current edition of the IPL Twenty-20 tournament. Gayle, who was dropped by KKR in this season and was not picked by any of the teams in the auction, was playing his first match of the tournament after he replaced injured Australian pace bowler Derek Nannes. He and Dilshan put on 123 runs for the first wicket that virtually settled the issue in favour of Bangalore today.

Kings XI Punjab beat Rajasthan Royals by 48 runs

Praveen Kumar (2-22) led disciplined Kings XI bowling attack to help Punjab beat Rajasthan Royals by 48 runs in their Indian Premier League clash at the PCA stadium in Mohali. Chasing 196-run target, Rajasthan Royals lost wickets at regular intervals against Kings XI Punjab. 

Ashok Menaria top-scored for the Royals as he hit a six and two fours in his 26-ball 34 innings. Ryan McLaren dismissed Stuart Binny in the thirteenth over after Binny revived the Royals run-chase with Ashok Menaria. Binny and Menaria added valuable 50-run for the fifth wicket in just 30 balls. Binny hit a six and two fours in his 24-ball innings.

Leg-spinner Piyush Chawla trapped Ross Taylor LBW for naught in the eighth over to reduce Royals to 49/4. Pacer Praveen Kumar struck in the previous over to get rid of dangerous Shane Watson (24).

Watson hit four boundaries in his quick 16-ball knock but failed to hold the faltering Royals innings.

Royals lost Swapnil Asnodkar (9) and Rahul Dravid (8) early and in quick succession. Praveen scalped Asnodkar in the third over after Ryan Harris gave Punjab an early breakthrough in the previous over.

Put in to bat, Shaun Marsh (71) and Paul Valthaty (46) helped Kings XI Punjab post massive 195/7 against Rajasthan Royals.

Punjab were set to cross 200-run mark before Shaun Tait (3-22) and Shane Watson (2-24) led Royals fight back in the end to stop them after the hosts raced to 169/2 in 15 overs.

Punjab managed to score just 26 runs in last five overs, scoring only two boundaries during the period.

Marsh led the Punjab charge after openers gave them terrific start as he slammed three huge sixes off Warne's single over to raced to his fifty in just 29 balls. Marsh also hit six fours in his 42-ball blitzkrieg.

Kings XI lost Dinesh Karthik (21) in the sixteenth over, which started their final overs misery, after he added valuable 70-run third wicket stand with Marsh.

In-form Paul Valthaty (46) failed to hit another half-century after giving his team a flying start against Rajasthan.

Royals skipper Shane Warne dismissed Valthaty in the tenth over and checked the Punjab’s marauding march. Valthaty smashed three huge sixes and four boundaries in his quick-fire 31-ball innings.

Punjab lost their captain Adam Gilchrist (28) in the fifth over after he added a rapid 67-run opening partnership with new batting sensation Valthaty.

Gilchrist slammed a six and four boundaries in his 16-ball cameo as Kings XI raced to fifty in just 2.5 overs, which is the fastest in the IPL history so far.

Shane Watson gave Royals first breakthrough when he scalped Gilchrist wicket.

Punjab’s innings started dramatically as no balls saved both openers early after Siddharth Trivedi clean bowled Gilchrist in the first over and Valthaty was caught at third slip off Shaun Tait in the next over.

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals skipper Shane Warne won the toss and decided to field against Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday.

Kochi beat Kolkata by six runs

In red hot form after back-to-back wins, Kochi Tuskers Kerala would be aiming to halt Kolkata Knight Riders' three-match winning run when the two sides face off in their Indian Premier League match at the Eden Gardens here on Wednesday.A few days ago Kochi Tuskers were all about a struggling bunch.After a couple of meek performances -- against Royal Challengers Bangalore and fellow debutants Pune Warriors India -- many wrote them off saying they were the weakest team in IPL Season 4.But things have changed dramatically after two matches.After beating heavyweights Mumbai Indians and holders Chennai Super Kings, Kochi have suddenly become giant-killers from underdogs.In match where Sachin Tendulkar hogged the limelight with his first IPL century, Mahela Jayawardene and Co spoiled the maestro's party with a mind-boggling eight wicket win.It was the performance of their openers Brendon McCullum and Jayawardene that enabled the team to chase down the stiff target of 183 against the Mumbai Indians without much fuss.McCullum and Jayawardene launched a counterattack to Lasith Malinga and co as they put on a commanding century-plus partnership for a win that looked very easy in the end.It was a performance that brought the Tuskers to everyone's notice.Up against another heavyweight in Chennai led by India's man of the moment Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Kochi showed the same intensity.It was the fourth anniversary of IPL -- the day on which McCullum hit that memorable 158 in Knight Riders' jersey -- and the New Zealander once again ensured an easy win.In the rain-affected match, the explosive opener rose to the occasion, making a mockery of the seemingly below-par Duckworth-Lewis target of 136 in 17 overs for a seven-wicket win with two overs to spare.If the win over Mumbai brought Kochi to the limelight, the latest win will surely give some jitters to table-leaders Knight Riders ahead of their match on Wednesday.Knight Riders had a similar start to their campaign, losing to the guile of Super Kings in their first outing.But the new-look side under Gautam Gambhir in the remaining three matches have showed why they are billed one of the favourites this time with three clinical wins -- against Deccan Chargers (away) and Rajasthan Royals (home and away legs) -- to take the pole position.Having turned the tide in their favour, Knight Riders will have some anxious moments against the resurgent Kochi, which has a former Knight in their ranks in McCullum.That the Kiwi glovesman, with two men of the match performances under his belt, is in explosive form will surely give some sleepless nights to the Knight Riders.It will be interesting to see what strategy the Knight Riders' think-tank in coach Dav Whatmore and mentor Wasim Akram put up against the McCullum.In McCullum and skipper Jayawardene, Kochi have an explosive opening while in experienced former India players in Parthiv Patel, Ravindra Jadeja and Aussie all-rounder Brad Hodge, they have a formidable middle-order.

Mumbai beats Pune warriors by 7 wickets

Facing some stifling bowling on a bouncy track, Pune Warriors put in an ordinary effort with the bat to concede Mumbai Indians two fairly easy points. Despite some repair work from Robin Uthappa, Pune managed only 118, which was 64 fewer than what was successfully chased in the last game at the Wankhede Stadium. As expected, Mumbai 's chase was comfortable, though there were some nerves at the end when they needed five to win off the last over.
Tendulkar and Rayudu added 74 for the second wicket without having to work hard. The game went as far as it did because Pune seemed satisfied with spread fields and thus did not lose too much on the net run-rate front. It was a slightly bizarre pact of non-aggression, with both teams happy to go through the motions, contriving to take the game to a stage where Mumbai needed two off two. At that point, Murali Kartik, the bowler, failed to collect a throw that would have run Symonds out. With the scores level, Rohit lofted Kartik over extra cover to seal the win.

Kochi Tuskers beat Chennai super kings by 7 wickets

17 oversKochi Tuskers 135 for 3 (McCullum 47, Parthiv 34) beat Chennai Super Kings 131 for 4 (Raina 50) by seven wickets (D/L method)

Brendon McCullum made a severe dent into the below-par D/L-adjusted target, and handy contributions from Parthiv Patel and Brad Hodge then gave Kochi Tuskers their second win in a row. It was the impact of the clean hitting from McCullum that shook Chennai up, and smartly Parthiv and Hodge took Kochi home. It was in compete contrast to how almost every Chennai batsman bar M Vijay struggled to find timing on a pitch that seemed to have retained some moisture. The Kochi bowlers used the track well, getting the ball to grip, but it was the ground fielding that stifled Chennai despite the fact the inside edges regularly found the boundary and mis-hits hardly ever reached the deep fielders.

McCullum then made batting looked ridiculously easy. Statements don't come more emphatic than his spinner-like treatment of Albie Morkel at the start of the chase. He charged straight at Morkel in the first over and deposited him into the sight screen. In Morkel's second, he went over cow corner. Disdain was getting defined. Doug Bollinger got a sample too when he as much as pitched short of a length.

Mahela Jayawardene departed after hitting R Ashwin for a four and a six, but nothing was keeping McCullum from hitting balls towards the sight screen, as Shadab Jakati realised. In the ninth over, Tim Southee also made the mistake of following the McCullum pads, and was hit for two boundaries as Kochi attained a rate of nine an over.

In between, Parthiv played a lovely cover-drive for four, but also got one inside edge to run down for four to give Chennai taste of their own medicine. McCullum wanted to finish things off fast, but miscued one off R Ashwin to leave the others 46 to get off 39. Parthiv was to make the equation simpler with a slog-swept six off Jakati, but he too mis-hit a pull to leave 26 to get off the last four overs.

Hodge and Ravindra Jadeja made sure there no jitters in the home stretch. Chennai's innings, though, never escaped regular and mild jitters. It rained almost throughout the first nine overs, it rained for more than an hour after that, and Chennai remained sluggish throughout. Except for a flowing 28 off 18 from Vijay, neither of the batsmen adjusted well to the pace of the pitch. Even Suresh Raina's half-century, and credit must go to him for getting that many on such a day, featured as many edges and mis-hits as the clean shots.

Others had nothing to show for. Early movement consumed Michael Hussey, his first loose shot accounted for Vijay, and desperation at not being able to hit freely took care of S Badrinath. The decisive moment came when MS Dhoni and Raina came together. RP Singh, Hussey's wicket to his name already, welcomed the India captain with an over full of yorkers and a bouncer, conceding just two: 109 for 3 after 15. In that spell of play, heave after heave followed, pad after pad was hit, and not even a 14-run final over threatened Kochi.

Kolkata Knight Riders beats Rajastan Royals by 8 wickets

Balaji, zara dheere chalo!" (Balaji, walk a little slowly) was the cry in 2004 when L Balaji charmed the Pakistan public with his skill and smile. Seven years later, post a career-threatening back problem, both the traits were visible tonight and Eden Gardens lapped it up in delight as a Balaji-inspired Kolkata Knight Riders routed Rajasthan Royals on a slow pitch.

Balaji produced a magical delivery to knock out the dangerous Shane Watson in his first spell before he returned to torpedo the lower order. The delivery that took out Watson was one of the best, if not the best, delivery bowled by a seamer this IPL. It landed on the good length around the middle stump line and jagged away sharply past the waft to hit the top of the off stump. Balaji screamed, his team-mates were delirious, and the crowd roared; everyone knew the importance of Watson's dismissal, accentuated even more by the absence of Rahul Dravid and Johan Botha in the line-up. He later returned to remove Ajinkya Rahane with an incutter and had Ashok Menaria upper cutting to thirdman.

Buoyed by Balaji's feat, a charged-up Kolkata applied the squeeze with discipline in bowling and desperation in the field. Iqbal Abdulla produced two sparkling moments: he first got one to dip and turn to leave Amit Paunikar stranded out of the crease before he produced a stunning effort in the field. He charged across and dived to stop a push-drive at short mid-on region off his own bowling and was shaping to throw at the striker's end when he realised that damage had to be done at the other end. He switched his arm at the very last instant to fire down a direct hit to run out Faiz Fazal.

The wicketkeeper Manvinder Bisla got in the act next to play his part in removing Ross Taylor in the 11th over. Taylor had overbalanced out of his crease, trying to flick a wide delivery down the leg side but Bisla reacted quickly to whip off the bails.

It was then the turn of Shakib Al Hasan to leave his imprint on the game. He reacted quickly at midwicket to fire an accurate throw at the striker's end to run out Abhishek Raut. Later, after Balaji had taken out Rahane and Menaria, Shakib took wickets off successive deliveries in the 15th over to hasten the end. Two arm-balls, with varying pace, took out Amit Singh and Shaun Tait for ducks, before Brett Lee rearranged Siddharth Trivedi's stumps to give Kolkata a perfect finish.

The chase wasn't a stroll, though. Jacques Kallis fell for a second-ball duck, top edging a lifter from Shaun Tait, and Manvinder Bisla fell to Shane Warne after a scratchy knock. Gautam Gambhir, however, stayed till the end to finish the job.

Sehwag's Delhi beat Yuvraj's Pune Warriors by 3 wickets

Pune Warriors India host Delhi Daredevils at the DY Patil Stadium in the 16th match of IPL 2011, both teams will want to win to push themselves towards the play off places.

Kings XI Punjab beat Deccan Chargers

After breaking the jinx of home defeats, a confident Deccan Chargers will aim to keep the momentum intact as they take on Kings XI Punjab at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium on Saturday.
The 2009 IPL champions, Deccan, started their campaign on a dismal not losing the first two matches but made a good comeback by registering a 33-run win over Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday.
Deccan bowlers who looked pretty ordinary in the earlier matches looked a different lot against Bangalore and their skipper Kumar Sangakkara will hope they keep up the good work.
Dale Steyn and Manpreet Gony claimed three wickets each while Ishant Sharma, Daniel Christian and Amit Mishra also found a mention among the wicket takers.
Their batting boasts of players like Sangakkara, Jean Paul Duminy, Daniel Christian, Shikhar Dhawan, Ishank Jaggi and Bharat Chipli and they too, have peaked at the right time.
On the other hand, Punjab have also made a brilliant comeback into the tournament after losing their opening match to Pune Warriors.
All eyes will certainly be on 27-year-old Paul Valthaty who scored a magnificent unbeaten 120 off just 63 balls to help Punjab beat defending champions Chennai Super Kings.
Others who are equally capable of killing any bowling attack are skipper Adam Gilchrist, Abhishek Nayar, Sunny Singh and Dinesh Karthik.
For Gilchrist, whose bowlers took a bit of pounding against Chennai will hope that they pull up their socks and get their acts together.
Praveen Kumar might have provided crucial breakthroughs at the beginning but has been ineffective at the death, while leg-spinner Piyush Chawla has continued his poor form of World Cup.

Kolkata Knight Riders beat Rajastan Royals by 9 wickets

Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir emphasised on the importance of clicking together as a team after his side's nine-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) here.

The dashing left-hander smashed a 44-ball 75 but, instead of basking in glory, attributed the victory to team effort.

"I'd rather think about the team first than about myself. The team is winning and that's more important," Gambhir said when asked about the decision to let Manvinder Bisla open the innings instead of himself.

"Bisla's done well, he has given us two good starts in the last two matches. That's the team's strategy," he added.

"I have been hitting the ball well, except for the first match, when I batted at number six. Hopefully I can continue." Kolkata beat Rajasthan black and blue and Gambhir was in agreement with that.

"We dominated the entire game. We bowled, batted and fielded well," he said.

The India left-hander is expecting bigger turnouts at the Eden Gardens, the team's home ground, for their coming matches.

"Hopefully we can continue the winning run and give them some happiness, because Kolkata is the city of joy," Gambhir said.

Rival captain Shane Warne was gracious in defeat but felt 160 was a par score.

"We weren't good enough today. It was about a par score. They played well in the first six overs. We were a little bit unlucky and inexperience at times hurt us, a couple of chances fell short. But that's part of the learning curve," Warne said.

"A couple of things didn't work out but we will take a lot of positives out of this game. We travel tomorrow to Eden Gardens and hopefully we can knock them over on their turf."

Delhi slumped to their second defeat in as many matches after having lost to Mumbai Indians in their opening match.

Sehwag was dismissed off the third ball of the first over when he edged Aussie quick Shaun Tait to Dravid in the slips.

Vettori Leads Royal challengers Bangalore

New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori will lead the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in the fourth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). RCB chairman Vijay Mallya in a statement said: "Vettori is a experienced and respected leader and we hope to ride to the pinnacle of success in this IPL under his leadership."
Vettori led a spirited New Zealand team to the ICC World Cup 2011 semifinals where they lost to Sri Lanka.
"Vettori is one of the most respected captains in the world and was praised for his leadership skills in the World Cup quarterfinals against South Africa which the Kiwis won by 49 runs," said Mallya.
Former Indian Test captain Anil Kumble led the Royal Challengers for the second and third editions of the IPL in which it finished as runners-up and the third best team in 2009 and 2010.
"It is wonderful that we have somebody of Vettori's stature to lead our team this year. He is the ideal person to fill Kumble's shoes and I wish him the very best in this endeavour. I look forward to supporting him in his efforts towards a successful season," said Siddhartha Mallya, Royal Challengers Sports Ltd director, in a statement.
Kumble, who is president of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), is the chief mentor of the Royal Challengers.
"Vettori is a respected professional not only within his team but amongst his international peers as well. His unique ability to get players to perform as a unit and deliver more than just the sum of their parts, as he has done time and again with New Zealand, will be a big asset to any team," Kumble said.
Royal Challengers coach Ray Jennings said that Vettori is probably the best spinner in the world at the moment and brings in tremendous skills that will be useful on the Indian pitches.
"We hope that Daniel will inspire the young Royal Challengers as much with his performance as with his leadership skills in the upcoming season," Jennings, a former South African cricketer, noted.
